OUR PROGRAMS

Educational programs

Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) works “hand in hand” with reputable, serious and respected NGO's with proven track records, involved with children and youth in refugee camps, villages and areas where these children sorely seek valuable life changing and positive education, sport, and self building confidence, including topics related to the environment, its fauna, animals and wildlife.

Our experience over the years with POUR la TERRE, Kids4Trees, and Agence 6-12 has been invaluable in helping to better understand and determine the needs of culturally specific and interdependent groups of children from different parts of the world.

In order to overcome challenges encountered in the course of teaching children and youth the principles of Sustainable Development, UNESCO and EARTH CHARTER Initiative Secretariat, and Association POUR La Terre worked together in 2006 to produce educational tools, including related songs on special POUR La Terre produced EARTH CHARTER/ UNESCO cd's, along with the school kits. The songs features reflect the values and principles of the EARTH CHARTER and have been composted by artists from around the world. Accompanying each cd is a “school kit” with the lyrics of the songs, biographies of artists, ideas for discussion and pedagogical excercises.

UNESCO will work together with Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) to produce educational and fun tools in various languages, with a special focus on peace enhancement programs for which UNESCO is responsible. It seeks to strengthen ties between nations and societies and mobilises the wider public so that each child and citizen has access to quality education, a basic human right and indispensable prerequisites for sustainable development.

Our partner, AGENCE 6-12, based in Paris, has produced many different forms of educational tools, art booklets and games with the above goals in mind, with the support of VIP's, sponsors and institutions.

Our Partner, WATERSHED Association of Monaco is generously donating to Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) “revolutionary machines” designed to trap moisture from the air and transform it into drinking water. This machine was donated to the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, and the machines donated to Bright Hopes for Kids will be sent for use in refugee camps and remote villages.

Sports Programs

Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) works closely with PEACE & SPORT (Monaco), a neutral and independent worldwide organization that is focused on using sport and its values as an instrument for peace.

In less than 10 years, the dynamism of sport has already enabled PEACE & SPORT (Monaco) to reinsert child soldiers back into society, to help war orphans rebuild their self confidence, to reintegrate refugees, facilitate access to education and a lot more. To use sport as a pedagogic tool has motivated the international sports movement into tangible action. In parallel, our success in the filed has made political leaders and governments aware of how sport can be a genuine and effective mechanism for peace.

AMADE (Monaco) has helped heal and educate children for many years and we exploring putting future programs together. We have been informed by local NGO's that these children are crying out for education, sports, music, and art.

Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) is working with UNESCO towards developing education programs through sport, building peace programs and helping young people rebuilt themselves.

The objective of our field programs is to show, in a tangible way, the federating, educational and social impact of sport. Our programs are organized to provide a supportive role to international stakeholders to develop their projects using sport for education, integration and socialization through:
  • Technical Support
  • Institutional Support
  • Financial Support
  • Capacity Building
  • Providing Teaching Aids
  • Coordination & Adapted Sports Practices
  • Training & Support

Reforestation Program

Reforestation Programs

Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) works closely with POUR la Terre to organize Kids4Trees outdoor environmental education and tree planting programs for children between age 6 and 12, throughout Lesotho, Kurdistan, Syria, Iraq and other possible areas served by our associations.

Events - Camps

On the 6th of April 2018, Peace and Sport (Monaco) hosted the "International Day of Sport for Development and Peace".

Bright Hopes for Kids (Monaco) were invited to join with their team in Jordan; to stay in Amman, and drive out all together to the Za'atari Refugee Camp, which hosts 80,000 Syrian refugees from all over Syria.

Over the next several months, Peace and Sport continue to organise sport and peace events; and we shall be teaching 50 school kids some Syrian/English peace songs; which they shall then sing later on in the day, after the speeches, before 80,000 people and national TV.

We envisage returning in November to continue and expand our program; this serves as a template for other operations in other camps/remote villages, along with the efficient Peace and Sport teams.
